Episode 6

Living Your Best Life - with guest Dr. Tommy Bond

In this episode, Anne introduces Dr. Tommy Bond, the founder of the TotalCare Health and Wellness Medical Center. Dr. Bond became the first physician to perform ultrasound-guided Regenerative Injection Procedures in the state of Louisiana.  He has since performed thousands of these injections, making him the most experienced practitioner of Interventional Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine, in Louisiana and the southern Gulf States region.

In 2018, Dr. Bond opened the doors to the Regenerative Medicine Institute of Louisiana.  Here, orthopedic treatments and procedures using adult stem cell therapy, prolotherapy, and platelet-rich plasma are delivered using precise ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and dedicated regenerative medicine protocols.

He is also a recent President of the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine (AAOM), an international non-profit organization of physicians dedicated to the promotion of regenerative medicine education around the world. Recognized internationally as an expert in the field, Dr. Bond is the youngest President ever to lead the AAOM as the continued leader in Interventional Regenerative Orthopedics and continues to lecture to physician colleagues, medical students, and residents in international locations like Cancun, Hong Kong, and Argentina.

In this chat, we learn about Dr. Bond’s path to becoming a practitioner of Regenerative Medicine, how he knew from a very early age what he wanted to spend his life doing, his thoughts and advice for overcoming what he calls the “American Syndrome”, and some valuable tips for helping people live their best lives.
